Formnext Forum Tokyo is set to take place from 26 – 27 September 2024 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. Known as the sister of Formnext, in Germany, the Tokyo event features a range of topical seminars and showcases covering a variety of AM products and services alongside the next generation of intelligent industrial production solutions. Now in its 4th year, the annual event will provide exhibitors, visitors, and conference attendees with the latest industry knowledge and offer ample business and networking opportunities.
As AM technology rapidly advances, innovation and improved idea implementation are becoming critical for harnessing its full potential. September’s event is set to support this through a lineup of ‘special seminars’ featuring prominent speakers from both domestic and international spheres, and exhibitor presentations where companies will showcase their latest products and services. 1,500 visitors are expected to attend the two-day event.
In 2023, 67 companies and organizations from five countries and regions, including France, Korea, India, and Sweden presented AM-related products, services, materials, manufacturing, and processing technologies to 1,185 visitors. “With its sharp focus on AM-related technologies and manufacturing, Formnext Forum Tokyo allows us to meet our ideal target visitors. We’ve conducted several business meetings and are sure to establish new business relationships with a number of them,” said exhibitor Mr. Lois De Jesus, Sales Director for APAC & India of TEKNA.
First time participants were equally pleased with the results of their attendance. “Most of the visitors here already have extensive knowledge about 3D printing technologies, therefore, it’s easy to communicate the benefits of our products to them. The 2024 Forum will host experts from a wide range of industry sectors, including solutions for additive manufacturing, materials, manufacturing preparation/pre-processing, component processing/surface processing solutions/post-processing, contract manufacturing/design/product development, tool and die making, software, quality management/measurement, certification and standards, research and development, and organizations and publishing companies.
Formnext Forum Tokyo is organized by Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd and forms part of a series of international events including Asiamold (4 – 6 March 2024, in Guangzhou, China), IMTS 2024 Additive Manufacturing Sector – Accelerated by Formnext (9 – 14 September 2024, in Chicago, USA), Formnext + PM South China (28 – 30 August 2024, in Shenzhen, China), and Formnext (19 – 22 November 2024, in Frankfurt, Germany).
