macOS is displaying notifications prompting me to upgrade (Figures 1 – 4). For example, "Upgrade to macOS Tahoe. Discover new features to unlock your productivity and creativity on Mac," (Figures 3 – 4). These notifications do not contain close buttons like other notifications. I consider these notifications advertisements.
I navigated to "Apple menu –> About This Mac," (Figure 5). I navigated to "Apple menu –> System Settings… –> General –> Software Update." Automatic Updates are disabled (Figure 6). How do I disable notifications to upgrade?
