Techmins is an independent technology publication focused on clear explanations, practical troubleshooting and useful tools.
We cover the technology people actually use every day — including 3D printing, home networking, smart-home systems, car technology, mobile devices and practical computing.
What we publish
Techmins is built around three types of content:
- Articles and explainers that make technical topics easier to understand.
- Step-by-step guides that approach troubleshooting systematically instead of relying on random setting changes.
- Tools and calculators that help turn technical decisions into practical numbers and recommendations.
Our approach
We aim to explain not only what to do, but why it works. Where a topic depends on standards, specifications or technical requirements, we prefer primary documentation from manufacturers, standards organisations and official sources.
Technology changes quickly. Product specifications, software behaviour, standards and compatibility can change after publication. We therefore update important articles when a change materially affects the guidance.
Independence and transparency
Editorial recommendations are intended to be useful and understandable rather than promotional. If Techmins uses affiliate links, sponsored content or other commercial relationships in the future, they will be identified where required and should not determine the technical conclusion of an article.
Corrections
If you find a factual or technical error, please let us know. Useful corrections help keep the site accurate for everyone.

Important note
Techmins provides general informational content. Technical projects, vehicle modifications, electrical work, networking changes and 3D-printed functional parts can involve risks. Always verify critical information against the relevant manufacturer documentation, applicable standards and local regulations.
