When setting up a new iPhone and re-adding Apple Wallet credit card security codes, I noticed the following tip at the bottom of Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Apple Pay Defaults > Default Card:
Change Your Default Card in Wallet
Touch and hold, then drag the card you want to the front of your other cards.
However, after I double-tap the lock button to get to Wallet, I do not seem to be able to reorder the cards. Touching and holding on a card slightly focuses it, but when I move my finder the entire list scrolls. I cannot drag the card to reorder.
How can I reorder cards in Apple Wallet? Why isn’t drag-to-reorder working in iOS 26?
