I’m looking for a scalable storage with on demand streaming solution for a mobile app, that would allow users to create their own songs that would consist of around 10 tracks that are being looped and played simultaneously at the same time (file lengths would be different, between 15 seconds to 30 mins). It’s a similar solution to the Better Sleep mobile app (attached screenshot).
What would be the best provider, considering that one user could stream multiple files at the same time (up to 10), so they could construct their own song?
I want users to be able to start playing back a track before it’s fully downloaded since some of them could be long.
I would need only a few gigabytes of storage for files and I’m happy with 128kbps mp3 streaming quality.
I was thinking about hosting files on podcast type servers (i.e. Azura Cast), but I guess this is a different model? Since I’d imagine they would allow to stream only one file at the time to a single user? Am I right?
