
Snowflake and OpenAI announce $200 million partnership
The two companies will work on building customized AI solutions for their joint customers. Additionally, OpenAI’s models will be natively available on Snowflake Cortex AI across the three major cloud providers, and will also be accessible through Snowflake Intelligence.

Android developers get access to new monetization insights
The Monetize with Play page in the Google Play Console is being updated with a new dynamic insights area to provide Android developers with a better idea of what is driving revenue for their apps. New metrics include cart conversion rate, cancelled subscriptions over time, average revenue per paying user, and what percentage of the engaged audience converts to buyers.
The page will also now show recommendations to help developers improve these metrics, such as suggesting they add subscription installment plans to extend their reach.
Other recent updates to the Google Play Console include Sales Channel reporting and an Orders API that allows real-time data to be ingested into internal dashboards.
Rocket Software will acquire OpenText’s Vertica analytics database
Vertica is an analytics database that can be used to run analytics and AI workloads on trusted company data. According to Rocket Software, bringing Vertica into its portfolio will allow it to support customers who want to modernize while protecting their sensitive data.
