As spotted by MacRumors, Apple picked this Friday for its “Mindful Month” activity challenge, which will invite users to record a mindfulness or meditation session that is at least 10 minutes long:
On October 10th, let’s take some time to appreciate all the ways we can care for ourselves and each other. Record 10 minutes of mindfulness or meditation with any app that adds mindful minutes to Health to get this award.
In recent years, Apple has invested in bringing mindfulness to its ecosystem through products like the Journal app and dedicated Apple Watch activities and challenges for meditation and reflection.
Friday’s challenge will expand on that, possibly offering many Apple Watch users their first real encounter with these concepts.
