I’ve been able to track down some of the Voice Memo’s on my computer (MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6).
However, they’re all saved as “20230405-3829293.m4a” instead of “Math Class Notes Apr 5.m4a”, for example.
(They’re not listed with the original file names I gave them on my phone).
Anyone know how to get the file names (or at least the original description) to show somehow, in the Finder window?

More Details:
In iTunes it shows the original name… but for backup purposes would like to have the actual file name somehow reflect it’s contents.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Using iPhone XS running 14.5.1, and MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6

What I Tried:
I read you can convert the file type to “Music” from “Voice Memo” in iTunes, drag and drop, and it would work. That did not work.
I tried transferring a bunch of times to other folders… just can’t figure out how to get the original file name to show up, instead of the string of numbers.
ALSO:
- I cannot mass export voice memos from my phone. It only let’s me export them 1 by 1. I have 1500+ Voice Memo’s.
- No airdrop or cloud options showing up for me.
