In Safari on iOS, go to https://translate.google.com/. Configure it to translate to some language. Type in a word. Wait a second. Bookmark the page and then copy the URL using the “Copy” button in the panel brought up by pressing the button on the toolbar with the square and up arrow. Compare the copied URL to the one saved in the bookmark. They will be different. Why is that and how do I make Safari save the copy-to-clipboard URL as the bookmark URL?
Note: This happens on some other sites, too. Editing the bookmark after saving it is NOT the solution, because I shouldn’t have to double check that the right URL got saved.
