javascript – UI Flickering Issue on Safari with iOS 17.2

I’m encountering a UI flickering issue on Safari with iOS 17.2 (latest public release). I’ve outlined the steps to reproduce the issue below and would greatly appreciate any insights or solutions.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Visit https://ineedavanman.com/instantquote using Safari on iOS 17.2.
  2. Select a category, “Furniture & General”.
  3. Click on the “Pickup Location” text box. Note: At this point, you may observe a flickering issue.
  4. Proceed to the “Dropoff Location” and click on its text box. The flickering may be present here as well.
  5. Add any item to the inventory using the quick selection buttons. Note: you will notice severe flickering here.
  6. Increase the item count to more than one.
  7. Try decreasing the item count. Observe that when the count reaches one and the item is removed, the screen may go blank until you interact with the screen again.

Additional Context:

  • This issue seems to have arisen with the latest public release of iOS 17.2.
  • Problems were previously noticed in Incognito mode but is now apparent in normal browsing mode as well.

I’m trying to understand if this is a known issue with iOS 17.2 or if there could be something in my website’s code that’s causing this behavior. Any suggestions on debugging this problem or pointers towards potential fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help!
