These stylish drawer units have been specifically designed to print in ‘vase mode’ (at 0.8mm line width) to allow for very fast printing and low filament usage, whilst maximising strength and stability.

With their sophisticated appearance, these drawers are ideal to grace the desk of any office executive, student, or maker who appreciates a pleasing design aesthetic in addition to useful storage functionality.

Each unit consists of a frame accommodating 4, 6 or 8 drawers, and a decorative trim piece has been included to add a touch of colour around the drawer fronts whilst also increasing overall strength and rigidity.

3D printing settings

The drawers and frames have been designed to print using ‘vase mode’ and with a 0.8mm line width. I use a 0.32mm layer height, as I find this gives a good balance between print quality and speed.

The front trim piece should be printed in non-vase mode.

Please make sure your 3D printer is designed to work safely using whichever settings you decide to use.
